European Network Of CBRN TraIning CEnters

Funding: EU H2020

Topic: SEC-21-GM-2016-2017 - Pan European Networks of practitioners and other actors in the field of security

Duration: 09/2017 - 08/2022

The function of the eNOTICE project is to develop a network of CBRN training centers. CBRN means protection against the effects of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear risks. In order to prepare better for CBRN accidents or attacks, a network of test locations, demonstration and training locations is developing.

The goal is to make investments more efficient and to improve product performance and competitiveness. The project also aims to reduce market fragmentation in the EU. The network enables the consolidation and sharing of resources as well as the exchange and dissemination of effective practices and lessons learned. To promote the identification of real user needs, joint activities, training and debriefing are organized. The aim is to facilitate exchange between all civilian and military actors, EU-relevant panels and policy-makers.

Research at C.I.K.

The task of C.I.K. is to create a public platform (eNOTICE Community Center) to provide and share information about the project. The platform is intended to increase the visibility of the individual training centers and enables a targeted search for them. The advantage of this platform is that agreements can be made, and joint activities can be organized in cooperation. The website regularly informs visitors about the news as well as the results of the project. Publicly accessible reports and publications from eNOTICE are provided there. Furthermore, visitors can find out about conference presentations, published documents and planned activities by eNOTICE. In addition to this information, the website also provides information about the project's partners and provides the visitor with contact information for any questions. The aim of this website is not only to inform visitors about the project, but also to support the dissemination of project activities.

European Network Of CBRN TraIning CEnters (eNOTICE) is funded within EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (EC-HORIZON2020-PR740521-eNOTICE)
